My final destanation
Dublin. The capital of Ireland, and my finale destination. This place has quite a history behind it and a few monuments here too. This place was once conquered by vikings and they also established a military base here too! They also got the Dublin Castle here that ruled for 800 years and King John was the first king to to clam the throne of Dublin. Seeing the magnificence castle inside and outside is truly a thing too see. I wish I could see the ambassador of Ireland but I am one of many citizens who want to see him. This is unfortunately my last log, I will be returning home and I will truly miss this place. Goodbye. :(
Moved to a new place
I'm back! I got better after a few days and I'm off to visit some castles and museums. The place I'm currently in is the city of Galway, full of scenery valleys and a few cathedrals. I normally don't pray in cathedrals but I wanted to see what they were like on the outside and inside. I also got to relax a little and avoid a lot of hustle and bustle with the scenery spots. However my trip to Ireland is about to come to an end, because Dublin is my last visit in Ireland so I'm trying to enjoy what I can.

Il calcio è impressionante!
Il calcio e impressionante! That's how you say,"Soccer is awesome" in Italian! Soccer here is a very popular sport, preferably called football. I used to play soccer in college, but I messed up my leg by tearing the muscle, and breaking it. I can't run for a very long period of time. But I can walk for long periods of time. Anyways, back to soccer. My nephew plays soccer and plays exceptionally well for a 6 year old. Now that I have told you about soccer, I feel like watching a soccer game on TV. So until next time...Bye!
Ciao Bella!

what a day

Sick! Just what I needed. At least medical care is better here, I got a viral sickness. I'm suck in a hotal room until I'm better. So I'll have to write what I see from a window, it's not much, but it'll have to do. I see a landscape with a castle and if only I could go there. So not much to write about, but when I am better I will tell more about this castle. Goodnight.
Baby names

Ciao its Mimi. I wanted to know how I got my name so I asked my mom. In Italy we have a certain way we name our kids. I found out that I was named after my grandmother on my dads side and my brother was named after my grandfather on my dads side. If we had another kid he or she would be named after my grandmother or grandfather on my mothers side. Any other kids my mom might have would be named after one of my aunts or uncles, a saint or even a deceased relative of mine. On the left is a baby picture of Mario my brother. Well Ta Ta for now

Jobs of Poland and my final farewell

Hello, for the last time. I am going to blog about the jobs of Poland and then I will say goodbye to everyone. A lot of the people in Poland have the job of a farmer. They live in rural places. Some people in Poland exports food, drinks, and sometimes chemicals. They also have oil reserves. Women in Poland have about the same rights as men in the workplace. Women are also eligible for one whole year of maturity leave and benefits. The work hours in Poland are from about six to eight in the morning to two and four in the afternoon. Well, that is my final blog for this session of blogs. It has been very fun to tell you guys about my beloved country of Poland. Maybe, you can convince your world geography teacher(Ms. Kennedy) to give you a field trip to my country. So, long for now.

Roma!
Ciao,
My class and I are going to Roma, (Rome). We are going to be there for a week. I'm sure we are going to see the Coliseum. The history behind it is so interesting. They use to flood it and use it for Naval battles. My teacher, Mrs. Gioia, was telling us about it. She was alway talking about the Roman Roads. We all know about Rome but we dont really know the history about all of it. Although I have been to Rome before I have never really heard about the history. I need to get done packing but before I go I'm going to tell you two things. 1.) Where we are all going when we are in Rome. These places are The Coliseum, The Pantheon, The Vatican Muesem, and we are going to the Vatican City to learn more about the Catholic religian. 2.) The next post I put up will be my last one for now. I think I might continue them though, I really like them alot. But for now, Ciao.

The climate where I live

The summers where I live rang from 41 degrees to 77 degrees. What the name suggest "Iceland" its very cold. But at some times we get warm water from the Gulf Coast. During the summer months, there is daylight for almost every hour of the day/night. But from November to January, there is darkness for almost the same amount as the sun in the summer. Surprisingly snow is not that often where I live, other than being just cold, ironic right?
My Field Trip
Last week I decided to go on a little field trip. I invited one of my best friends named Caprice. We have known each other since we were in the third grade. We went to a Venice, Italy. It was an amazing trip there and back. We learned a lot things and I'm happy that I had the opportunity to go with Caprice. We stayed at a wonderful hotel and everyone was really nice.
The Nightlife in Lisbon Portugal!!!!
Hey there I'm going to share some fun things about Portugal during the night. When the light goes out the fun begins. It is known to be the most vibrant place in Europe. You can drink until dawn. You can find dance, music, and much more. My town has many interesting restaurants and bars you can go visit. The nightlife last until the next morning, The bars usually don't close before 2 a.m. and disco are open later than 6 a.m. Bairro Alto is usually wher I go, it's always crowded with people there at night.
Hei tänään me opettelemme uskonto!
Hello from Finland! I'm going to explain the many religions and faiths that we have in Finland. Finland has recognized so many faiths there is even a Jedi Religion. Finland is a Lutheran country, but there is an increasing amount of athiests in the country. The government has stopped accepting new applicants for a new religion but there are many other faiths of Christianity, the dominant is Reformed but there are plenty of Catholic Churches to attend. I think that it is great, that there are so many religions and faiths to turn to in Finland and that we are able to have freedom of religion.

Alexander Skarsgard and Stellan Skarsgard

<<<<<
Alexander Skarsgard. You might know the character he plays on True Blood: Eric Northman. He was born in Stockholm on August 25, 1976, and he is 34 years old. He also served in the Swedish coastal artillery, and used to be an anti-terrorist marine in Sweden. You might also know his father, or seen him in movies as well. Stellan Skarsgard was born on June 13, 1951, right here in Gothernburg!! He is 59 years old. He was in movies such as, Angels and Demons, and he blayed Bill "Bootstrap" Turner in Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and At World's End. He also played one of the possible fathers of the character Sophie (Amanda Seyfr
ied), in the movie Mamma Mia!

Transportation in Austria
Hi! It's Alexandra again! Today I'm going to tell you a little about transportation and how we get from place to place. Since Austria has excellent road networks, most of us travel in cars. The only problem is that parking is very limited in the cities. But, our public transport system is also very good, so many Austrians use that as well. The rail networks are fast and you can get discounts online, so it is very affordable. Public transport systems in clude buses, tramlines, and suburban railways. Though we have all of these good transportation systems, cities encourage people to ride bikes; there are so many well-kept biking paths and trails.

Austria's Landscape
The Alps mostly run through the south and west of Austria, usually covered in snow and amazing for taking pictures, whether you visit the area often (I do!) or are just stopping by. Hiking is really common, of course. Most people will take hiking trips or go on picnics on the weekends in Austria.
Most people live in the east, though, as the lands are generally flat with hills scattered about. The main river of Austria, the Danube, runs right through my city (Vienna).
The mountains and rivers of Austria are very beautiful, as is Austria itself. I love vacations to the alps, and towns nearby (like Salzburg) with beautiful scenery.

Big news in the U.K today! Prince William got engaged to Kate Middleton. They will be married in the coming spring or summer. It is a happy moment for both of them. Prince William asked her to marry him in Kenya, on a vacation with their friends. Kate Middleton said she wasn't that surprised because they had talked about marriage for a while. It is a very Big deal that this is happening, all of the U.K has been talking about this since the day it happened. I am very exited for the day that they get married.
Holidays!

There are some really important holiday's here! Especially in the summer. In the summer, we have summer fairs that we call Sagre's. There is usually a lot of food at these! The most important holiday we have in the summer Ferragasto. It takea place August 15 and is the Assumption Feast of the Virgin Mary. Most stores and offices are closed on this holiday.
Music in Italy

There are many genres of music in Italy such as, Opera, Rock (Hardcore), hip-hop, folk, jazz, progressive rock, and classical. The country offers an award program for the musicians accomplishments like something in America called the Italian Music Awards. They also offer many music festivals: the Sanremo Festival, the Umbria Jazz Festival, the Ravello Festival, the Festival dei Due Mondi, and Festivalbar. The national anthem is a song called, Canto Degli Italiani. Italians are very passionate about their music and are very creative in the process.
Why visit my country?
Scarlette here! Do you need a place to go and relax and enjoy yourself? Well, feel free to visit my country! I love Italy with all of my heart and I would recommend anyone to come here! It is so beautiful and peaceful. Our mountains are perfect for skiing! If you do come to Italy, especially Venice, come see me at my bakery! :) I would love to have company!! Thank you for following my blog!! :)
Holidays in Bosnia and Herzegovina

For new year's celebrations kids usually get presents the day before that were placed under their pillows. on the stroke of midnight... we light fireworks!! On Christmas eve we decorate the Christmas trees. On Christmas day we feast and enjoy company with all. Easter is one of my favorite holidays.... We Bosniaks believe that each family has its on saint. Easter is a day for socializing. We all celebrate holidays such as Independence and victory day! I love our celebrations.
My Home Town!

Ciao everyone!
So today I thought I would tell you a little about my home town: Naples Italy.
The public transportation in Naples is very good, but it has major traffic problems. So it is best to not own a car here in Naples. There are a lot of trains however, so we use them as our main transportation. We also have an airport here in Italy. The flights the airport provides travel to other parts of Italy, as well as other parts of Europe.
Although there are traditional breakfasts, lunches and dinners, Naples is known for its pizza. Not to mention its Eggplant Parmesan, as well as its spaghetti that can be served with clams and mussels. Very delcious!
I must say Addio for now.....I do not believe I will be returning to blog for a long time. I have lots to do. But it has been a pleasure and molto divertente. (very fun)
I hope we will meet again someday, whether through blogging, or in person.
All my love,
~Annalisa~

It contains coaches dating from the early 17th century too the 19th century. The Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga has the finest collection of paintings from the 17th century. It also has exhibits of african art and sculptures.

Hi it is Robin,
Darn it Christmas is finally over. And after Christmas do you know what comes next? New Years!"Silvester" is what the New Year's Eve is called in Germany. It's named so because 31st December is the feast day of Saint Sylvester, who was a pope. New Year is all about dancing, singing, and drinking. Many Germans prefer celebrating their New Year's Eve with their friends and loved ones. Playing games that are meant to foretell what the year has in store for everybody is also a part of the New Year in Germany. We also do New Year vows.

Is the Religion Here In Ireland Like What You Thought?? Well lets see!!

The religion here in Ireland is pretty much Roman Catholic. I did a survey and 92 percent is Catholic. The other three percent is everything else like Jews, Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, and non denominations. My family has always been non demoninational even though in Italy mostly everyone was catholic. Here in Ireland I've noticed that you aren't judged n your relgion because no one cares. Judging people because of that is almost non existent. A long time ago the Jewish churches were vandalized a few time, but soon people let that stuff go. The Catholic religion taught the schools, but now it isn't like that at all. The religion here is free and no one ever really cares and thats what I love about it here.

Netherlands History...!
Hallo! Well time to learn our history...yay! Ha-ha well to start it off the Netherlands was ruled by Spain in the 15th and 16 century. It was in 1648 Spain granted "us", Netherlands, our independence and so we would have the Dutch Golden Age. As you may know that the Netherlands was neutral in World War 1 and in World War 11 it was neutral until the German's invaded. Netherlands was forced to join the war effort and was damaged because of the many bombed cities. The day of liberation is still celabrated in Netherlands and the biggest celabration is in Amsterdam, which to me is amazing! The canals and Van Goqh Museum are so great attraction that you can see modern and historical culture in and have an amazing fun at. Thats the history of Netherlands, as far I know. Doei!
La Befana
Ciao,
Today is January 6, which means it is the 12 day of Christmas an we get to open present. Last night, we did an American tradition, well at least to the Conway's tradition. We ate what they eat every Christmas Eve which is Oyster stew and spaghetti. I thought it was a weird combination but they were both really good. After dinner all us kids hung our stocking then we put all the little kids to bed. They were excited to see there presents from La Befana, She is like santa but she's more like a kind witch. She is the one to bring presents to little kids like Santa Claus. This morning we opened our present. I got the usually, clothes and perfume, but this year my mother thought it would be a good idea to let me test drive a new Ferrari FXX. She was going to let Zander, Enzo and I all drive it in 2 weeks. We knew this was going to be fun. Christmas is my favorite holiday though. Not because of the present but because I love being around my family. For no, Ciao.

Family Life

In Spain family is very important. Spanish families usually consist of parents and 2 kids. The wife is the second role in the house. She cooks cleans and takes care of the family. The wife may have a part time job, but is mostly a stay at home mom. She is the worker behind the scenes. The dad is the worker. He is the one who puts the food on the table. He buys it and she cooks it kind of like a team. He usually works until about 8:00 pm when he starts at about 9:00 am. He is the leader of the household. He is the one that makes all the decisions. He is the alpha and the omega. His wife is like the back up to the team. The kids are there own little unit. They go to school and then they come home to do their homework. After they are done with their homework they go outside and play. They mainly play soccer with other kids their age. My family is much like this. Instead of two kids I have three kids. My family runs as one big happy family never getting off step just having fun.
Erntedankfest (Thanksgiving)
Since the American Ertedankfest is fast approaching, so I guess its time to talk about it. The German version of the "American" holiday is quite different. For example, it is celebrated the first Sunday in October, not the fourth Thursday in November. Though, that is the most used day for the celebration. Other celebrations range from September to October. Some things are similar though. Over the years, Erntedankfest has added turkey, or turthan, as well as goose, or gans. Also, black friday does not exist in Germany until the 11 of October.
2 more weeks
Dear Family,
These letters are getting bitter sweet. I am happy that my trip is coming to an end but I am also sad because this is such a beautiful country. This week I plan to have another relaxing week. I plan to go to concerts and buy a lot of the music here. Most of the music I have heard here is nice and soothing. The music is a mix of all different types. I recognize some American style in some songs. There are many styles that i do not know which make it very interesting. I will be sure to bring you guys home some music.
Sincerely,
Logan Hearn
Hungarian Etiquette
Hungarians at first glance seem very withdrawn and quiet but when you actually meet them you will know that they are very loving people. Our good manners are much like many other countries, informal meetings you kiss the person on each cheek (the cheek on the face of course) and formal meetings is eye contact and shaking hands. Hungarians have no problem in sharing space and because of this our country does not have many germophobes. If you look like you are not from where you currently are hungarians will simply stare at you. In hungary people do not ussually state how the feel they express it through body language, it is not polite to simply say im sad today etc. If you are invited to dinner you should arrive promptly and with flowers (did this with my fiance and her parents didnt hate me because of it). If you are at dinner you should sample every dish or the host or hostess might not feel appriciated. This is what you need to know so dont get nervous if random people stare at you in a bus.
Visiting Kelly in Portugal
Well on Sunday we attened Kelley's church she is Catholics and it was pretty good because I am Catholic as well. After that we went to Kelly's house to have lunch and we caught up on each other but the best thing wwe did was went to go see a comedy movie and we laughed about it the whole day.
thing in spain
In spain they drive on the right side of the road. Im going to down town and its chistmas. When you go down town all you see lights. There lights in the air moving. This part of the year is the bigest part and we eat a lot in this part
Weather in Britain

I thought that if any of you wanted to come to Britain you would want to know if you need a T-shirt, or a Sweater an umbrella or a cap or any of those items you might bring, so I decided to write about the weather. The weather in Britain varies depending on what part of the country you are in. If you are in North Western Britain you will probably want your umbrella no matter what time of year it is. Going to the North? Your going to need a large coat, that's the place you need to go if you like cold weather. Now most of you are probably interested in going to London and I can't blame you because it is beutiful, but you need to be prepared because the weather there is extremely unpredictable. Some people bring both sunglasses and an umbrella when walking through the street.
Polish Culture and Life Style

Hello everybody in the United States of America. The population of Poland today is 38 million. During World War 2, there was about 6 million people including 3 million Jews who were slaughtered in the war because of Adolf Hitler. The language of Poland is mostly Slavic. The most popular foreign language in Poland is English. How weird! Poland has many popular cities. The cities have populations over 500,000. The capitol, Warsaw, has the most people. They have about 1.7 million. That is a lot of people. Some of the traditions and customs of Poland are based on some from the East and Islamic things. They make paper cut outs for the holidays. Sometimes, they use wafers to make the cut outs. Our meals are very important. Having a meal with your family is not just about eating food, it is a celebration. The meals we have here are very laden down with meat and vegetables. We have a lot of things to be proud of in our country. Come visit us sometime. We have just decided last night that we will be coming to the States in about three months. See you guys soon.

Flag of Bosnia & Herzegovina

I'm here again trying to tell you about the flag. We adopted our flag on February 4,1998. On the flag there is a yellow triangle, and the three points on the flag represent the nations main races: Croats, Bosniaks, and Serbs. The white stars represents Europe and are meant to be infinite numbers. The blue was supposed to be the shade of blue on the United Nations blue, then it was changed to a darker shade to correspond with the flag of the European union. The color yellow represents generosity. blue represents vigilance, truth and loyalty, perserverance and justice. In Bosnia the Bosnian flag is lifted first and lowered last. We take pride in our flag...

Hei tänään olen puhu suomea toiminnasta.
Hei again, today I'm talking about some of the activities that the Finnish like to do every day. In many of the cities of Finland there is very car traffic. Most people are riding bicycles and walking around the cities because there are many sidewalks. In Helsinki we get to walk to the university and ride the bus to the university and sometimes the subway depending on the campus. We also go and do many sports. many of them are soccer, rowing teams, and running. I really enjoy the active life that I have in Finland and I hope that many other countries in the world take up the active lifestyle that the Finnish have.

I am overwhelmed with the comments that everyone has been leaving me. One person mentioned that they actually look foward to my blogs. I AM THANKFUL FOR ALL YOU GUYS!
I'm trying my best to start a center called "Fashion with Felicia." The reason I want to start this center is because I want to help some of the young ladies out there to fullfill their dreams. I'm going to have a buliding for the models and one building for the fashion designers. I'm going to try my best to help all the young ladies who feel like their hope and dreams will never be.

Icelandic traditions
Greetings:
When you are first greeted in Iceland, most likely you will be kissed on the cheek, like in many European contries, whether its a man or woman.
Wedding:
Engagments in Iceland last from four to five years because people do not like to rush into marridge. When two people are getting married, they have to say it publicly three times, once in the bride's church, once in the groom's church, then once in the church which they are gonna get married in. Weddings can last for weeks at a time.
Holidays:
There are 13 "Santa Clauses'" in Iceland. The 13 days before Christmas, all we do is prank each other, with our best pranks. Before Christmas, we must put our best show in the window, and if we are good we are given a gift by "Santa's Father". And if we are bad we get a potato from "Santa's mean mother".

Before Christmas, we must put our best show in the window, and if we are good we are given a gift by "Santa's Father". And if we are bad we get a potato from "Santa's mean mother".
Dinner Anyone?

Ciao all!
I have already covered breakfast and lunch in my blogs. So I thought it would be appropriate to cover a traditionaly dinner here in Italia. :-)
The dinner would start out with the L'antipasto, which would be the appetizer. It would include an assortment of meats, cheeses and olives served with bread. Next would be the La Prima Piatta, which is almost always a pasta dish. The main course would be the La Seconda Piatta. It would include meat or seafood, served with a vegetable side or salad. Finally, the Il dulce would be the dessert. That would include an assortment of fresh fruits or sweets.
That dinner would be a simple one. A more extravagent one would have:
- Antipasto
- Soup
- Pasta
- Intermezzo (sorbet)
- Main Course
- Salad
- Cheese
- Sweets
- Coffee
After THAT dinner you would definately be estremamente completo (extremely full)! But of course, after maybe a few minutes after that kind of dinner, I can bet my brothers would be hungry for more food. *sigh*...I really and truly don't understand how they can eat that much food. Now that I am hungry from talking about all this food, I will leave you with this one phrase,
Soggiorno fame miei amici (Stay hungry my friends).

Snow Sports in Switzerland

Hey its Olaf since its getting close to winter I wanted to tell everyone a little about the winter sports here in Swintzerland. Many people here enjoy winter sports in the Alps not just because of all the snow and good conditions but also because it is a very beutiful place to go play in the snow. Some of the winter sports that we love to participate in is Skiing, tobaggining, snow boarding, and ski gliding. The peak seasons for winter sports in Switzerland are January through March and all of the Ski resorts in the mountains where the slopes are they are all packed with tourists. To make the experience more enjoyable they offer cable cars and chair lifts to make it easier for tourists and the locals who love the winter sports.
Greetings! it's Charles again, today I will tell you about the land of the U.K. The United Kingdom has mostly farming land, and some jungle and other purpose type land. The most populated city in the U.K is Birmingham, 101,8000 people live there. The people in my country are very nice and welcoming.
Famous Designers to Come Out of Milan

Most of the well known fashion designers and artists have come from Milan. The most well know fashion designer of all though, is Giorgio Armani. He created a very succesful line of menswear. His take on the traditional business suit introduced many new looks. Leonardo da Vincci who is most famous for his Last Supper painting that has never been able to be exactly replicated. Another designer, Gianni Versace, who is considered one of the most talented designers of the twentieth century. There are many more famous artists and designers but, I figured that these are some of the most recognizable.
Climate

The climate in Madrid is dry. It is very warm and it's never very cold. Winters get just below freezing. It hardly ever snows, but when it does my family always has a blast! I love the weather because I can not deal with the cold. Rain in Madrid is scarce and it usually only rains in the Spring. It's not all that bad, but I wish there was more rain. Well this will be my last bog bye peoplez!!!
The Austrian Flag
Hi again! It's Alexandra. Today I'm going to tell you about our flag and what the colors stand for.
Red stands for bravery, valor, and the strength of the Austrian people during oppression and unrest. White stands for peace and honesty. There's on e legend that tells of why we used the red stripe, white stripe, red stripe pattern. Duke Leopold IV of Austria was fighting in a crusade, and his battle dress got completely soaked in blood. When he took his belt off, that section of his dress was completely white because no blood had gotten on it. That was believed to be the reason why. Our flag is also one of the oldest designs of national flags in the world.

Ice Hotel

Hello there once again! Today, I wanted to tell you about Ice Hotel, simply because it is so cool! Ice Hotel is located in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden, and is a hotel made completly out of ice and snow! It's only open from December to April, and the rest of the year the ice is stored and more is harvested from the Torne River. This isn't the only Ice Hotel in the world, but it was the first, and it opened for the first time in 1990. The Ice Hotel came to be when, in 1990, a French artist named Jannot Derid held an art exhibition in an igloo shaped in a cylinder. There were no places to stay in the town one night, so some visitors got permision to stay in the exhibition hall. They slept in sleeping bags on top of reindeer skin. It's beautiful, but maybe a little too cold for one's liking. ;)

Italian Flag

Ciao its Mimi and I wanted to tell you about my flag. Their are many ideas about what the flag means. One of my favorites is that the green means basil, red means tomatoes, and white is mozzarella. The other one I like is where green means hope, white means faith, and red means charity. This is basicly the main information on the flag so Ta Ta for now
Hey it is Robin,
This is great, as you know Christmas is coming in about a month and I am so excited. This is my favorite Christmas carol it goes like this.
"Alles schläft; einsam wachtNur das traute hochheilige Paar.Holder Knab' im lockigten Haar,: Schlafe in himmlischer Ruh! :Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!Gottes Sohn, o wie lachtLieb' aus deinem göttlichen Mund,Da uns schlägt die rettende Stund'.: Jesus in deiner Geburt! :Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!Die der Welt Heil gebracht,Aus des Himmels goldenen Höhn,Uns der Gnaden Fülle läßt sehn,: Jesum in Menschengestalt!" We get all the presents and we all go out to pick out the Christmas tree. We gather round and take a picture of us and the tree and my dad always has to wear his dirty jacket in those pictures.

My Bentley

Good morning everyone. Every day I drive to work in my Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed. It is 2,900 kg of solid power. My Bentley is a sleek black with a 12 cylinder, 550-hp engine. I can always depend on my Flying Spur to take me where I need. However, I need to be at work right about now. I need a vacation...
Entertainment in Britain

I've heard that Americans like to sit and watch the television more than most cultures. Us British do have TV programs, but not as many as the Yanks do some of our more popular shows are X-factor, Britain's Got Talent, and a lot of reality shows. We prefer going on hikes and picnics and other outdoor activities to the TV though. The fresh air, in my opinion, will always beat television. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts how we like to visit the beach very often which is true, but we also like to do almost anything outside espically since our country is so beutiful.
Spain art

Art is a big part of Spain's culture. There are many types of art in the world and spanning from a long time period. In Spain art started in the mid 15th century when a jest for the king fell on a bucket of dye spilling it on to a white sheet. Thus in Spain art was born. The Renaissance soon started and took art to a whole new popularity. The Renaissance era was a time when art was adored many spanish artists. Art is still adored by people today. Many artists such as Dali and Seville still work and paint today. Spanish art is mostly contemporary with some modern fling. Art to me is important in many ways. Without art my business would not be flourishing like it has. Spanish art is the best in the world.
Dear Family
Ciao Dear Family,
Come stai?
Io ti amo teneramente,
Carolina Orsano

The most famous German man
The most famous German man in the world is by far Albert Einstein. He was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Kingdom of Württemberg in the German Empire. He went to the Eidgenössische Polytechnische Schule in Zürich and later went taught at Polytechnic College of Zurich. Being jewish, he left the country to the USA when the Nazis took control of Germany, but not before he published his most famous work; E=mc2. He discovered this when he was with his friend while they were contemplating how long it takes for the light to reach them from the clock and the relative time of them to the clock itself. When he took the equation to America. Though his equation is fundamental for the Manhattan project, he refused to take part in the project. He died April 18 , 1955 in Princeton New Jersey.

Flag of ireland

Lately the school I go to is having a Ireland nationality week. We have been learning about various traditions, history, and celebrations. I was almost ashamed when I learned I was one of the only people that had not seen the Erin Go Bragh flag. The flag means Ireland forever. I think I will start learning more about it.

Well as you know Christmas has come and passed and the new year is just around the corner. Today we went out to buy all of the supplies for our party. I'm so excited to have my grandmother predict my future by taking a drop of molten lead and dropping it into a cup of water. Depending on what it turns into she can predict my future. Mine turned into the shape of a pig. That means that I will have lots of food in the next year to come. Today we ate so much food... it was like Thanksgiving in America! My uncle and dad had a beer drinking contest and my uncle won. Unfortunatly he passed out 15 minutes later. I think that I am going to sleep very well tonight knowing that the next year will be very prosperous.

Gelato Anyone?

Ciao all!
It has been a long weekend, and I must admit, I have missed blogging. But today, I will tell you about something that I had to eat this weekend. Gelato. Some of you might not know what Gelato is, so I will explain it to you.
Gelato is very similar to...ice cream. Is that what you call it? Ice Cream. Sounds interesting.....Anyway, I did some research on ice cream and I learned some things about it so I can relate it to Gelato.
First off, Gelato has less butterfat than ice cream. But Gelato does not lack flavor! With the lower butterfat content, Gelato is less solidly frozen that ice cream, and it melts in your mouth faster. Because of this, you would taste Gelato's flavor immediately. Second, Gelato has a much higher density than ice cream. Ice cream is made with cream, milk, sugar, then air is added to it for double the quantity. No air is added to Gelato. Because of this, Gelato is richer and creamier than ice cream. Finally, Gelato is served slightly warmer than ice cream. They both are obviously served under freezing, but Gelato is served 10 to 15 degrees warmer than ice cream. The result is a immediate-melt-in-your-mouth taste. I personally think that it is heavenly! :-)
My favorite type of Gelato is strawberry. :-) I must go for today...and maybe I can treat myself to some Gelato tonight after dinner. Of course, strawberry. :-)
Addio for now!
