Hiking trails are not that common where I live but I still love to go. Most trips do not take much to plan since all you need is a decent map and touch. Ireland is one of the safer places to hike mainly do to rabies being almost nonexistent. Somtimes we go on long two to three day trips that need to be planned well enough to make sure you do not get lost in the woods. You need very good survial kits and you need to tell someone you are out there just in case.
