Germany is a huge fan of racing and has produced many of the most know international racers in the world. Despite this, only two german drivers have won the Drivers Championship in Formula 1, the most prestigious award in European racing. The most famous German racecar driver is Michael Schumacher. He has won the F1 Drivers Championship a record 9 times. Sebastian Vettel is now the youngest driver ever to win the F1 Drivers Chapionship at 23 years old. He is also the youngest driver to win a point in F1 and and the youngest driver to win a Grand Prix in F1. This year, Nico Hulkenburg came out of no where at the Brazilian Grand Prix and took pole as a rookie in F1.
