Italian Pizza

I have made a very bad mistake today. I ordered pizza today and it tasted horrible. Come to find out Italy does not use tomato sauce on all of their pizzas. Most pizzas in Italy are created with a olive oil base. And the toppings are diffrent also. Some pizzas in Italy are topped with salad on top. No graded monzorella used here all fresh monzerella. Here they use an actual fire to cook there pizza. This oven can reach temperatures of up to 600 degrees and cooks the pizza a lot faster than ovens. This type of cooking results in a crispy crust. There are not very many thick crust pizzas in Italy, most people believe that thin crust shows the flavors of the toppings more than thick crust. Ciao from Italy
