Ana in Greece- FASHION

Hi! It's Ana again! Today I was thinking about the clothing in Greece, so I decided to talk about Greek fashion. Greek fashion is known all over thew world. I read that fashion designers around the world researh Ancient Greek fashion and get inspired by them. Then they create pieces of clothing from their inspirations. The three main materials that people used in Ancient Greece were wool, linen, and drapery. We still use those today, however, now there are SO many more materials to use. Some of these include cotton silk, jute, leather, and chiffon. So basically, the materials have remained the same, it's just the articles of clothing we make with them. It has changed from warm cloaks, tunics, and skirts to trousers, gowns, and different types of skirts. I know this wasn't the most exciting post, but I think it is really important for you to know how well know Greece is for it's fashion. The main streets in the city of Greece are lined with different boutiques and clothing stores, but they are really expensive, so I normally don't buy clothing there. I really like window shopping!

Bye for now!
