Ana in Greece- SCHOOL

This is a picture of one of the secondary schools in Greece.
When we left the United States to move to Greece, one of the first things I noticed were the differences in education systems. In Greece it is only madatory for students to attend school up to the age of fifteen. So technically, this could be my last year of school. However, after the age of fifteen, there is an optional cycle to attend from fifteen to eighteen. I chose to stay in school until I'm eighteen because I think it will be better for my future. Two activities that Greek schools promote and encourage are parades and gymnastics. My favorite subject at school is math! I really dislike physics. Other than that school in Greece is pretty normal. Crete has the lowest dropout rates which really bugs me, but there really isn't much I can do about that. All I can do is to succeed in MY life!
More Later,
Ana
