Christmas in Portugal!

Ei! I thought I would share some information with you about Christmas in Portugal. Chrstmas is sorta celebebrated as how the Cathoclicism does. Most of Portugal is Roman Catholic so it would make scence that I am Catholic myself. In Portugal the chilldren are responsible for collecting material to decerate the tree. Most chilldren write letter to infan Jesus instead of Santa clause. My friends and I attend the Midnight Mass. On Christmass day me, Ana, and Chicka will have a feast that is called "Consoada." The traditional food we eat is codfish with boiled potatoes and cabage. After the meal we'll eat traditional desert which is my favriote part of the meal. My favriote desert is the "rabanadas" which is similar to french toast. In our hosehold we each put a shoe on top of or next to the fire place. My favriote part about Christmas days is watching Ana's and Chika's faces when they open the presents I bought for them.
