Everyday on Saturday, I go on the Nurburgring for a couple laps. Usually I go on my Aston Martin DB9, but I decided to go on the Ferrari F430 of which I had just bought. The track is one of the first Formula 1 tracks and is by far the longest Grand Prix in the history at 28.265 km long (17.563 mi for the Americans) though, the public is limited to the Nordschleife course, or Northern loop, which is limited to 22.810 km (14.137 mi). The picture above is of the Nordschleife. The track was built in the 1920's and a shorter version is still used today for F1 and other international races. The fastest lap time for a non-production car is 6:11.13 by a Porsche 956 while the fastest lap by a production car is a Pagani Zonda R with a time of 6:47.50. Today, I did a 8:01.23 which is a personal best. I think the Ferrari will be my race day car for now on.
Hi how are you doing. I've been wondering just how fast does your car go on average? I would also like to ask what are the celebrations that happen where you live? Signed Scott C. James
