Witam again, I was able to put Gita back to sleep. So, I am able to do another blog post for you people in the United States. So, I am going to talk more about what we do for fun in Poland. One thing that they enjoy for fun in Poland is their holidays. They have many holidays. We celebrate Christmas very early. We celebrate it on December 6th. On Christmas eve, they have a big meal with a twelve course meal. It represents the twelve apostles. They also celebrate Easter in Poland. They eat swiecone for breakfast on Easter morning. The following Monday, everybody throws water at each other representing purity. They have a national holiday for the constitution. It is the second oldest constitution in the world. They also celebrate All Saints Day which is when everybody crowds into cemeteries to honor the dead with candy and flowers. Oh! No! Gita is up for good and she is crying really loud. So, I think this is my last post for the day. Coming Gita! Bye!
Hei,I think I would like to go to Poland, the food there sounds like it is amazing! I wish I could go there, but I have too much school to do. I would like to learn what "swiecone" really is.
ReplyDeleteSwiecone is a tradition in Poland. They eat it on Easter Sunday. It is a ceremony of eating hard and cooked eggs.
