Hungarian Landscape and Wine
Hungary, a rather small country, stretches 268 km north to south and 526 east to west. Most of Hungary is made of plain. Plain is found in the eastern and north western part of the country. Our Country has two main rivers the Danube, which runs through Budapest, and the Tisza, to the east. The area east of the Danube is a very hilly area, and the area to the west is all plain. Most mountains run along the North western border although there are a chain close to lake Balaton, where my parents live. Hungary has 22 regions which produce wine and an overall estimate of how much wine is exported is around 90 million gallons. This is what Hungarian landscape looks like and how much wine we export. I like wine.
