Today I went to La Almudena. On 9 November Madrid celebrates a saint la Virgen de la Almudena. A morning group in the Plaza Mayor is followed by a march through the city streets stopping at the Almudena Cathedral. I was in the middle marching through, looking at all of the magnificent buildings. We walked for 3 hours and when I got home I was exaughisted.
