Malmo

Hey everyone!! Today, I'm going to talk about the city of Malmo. Why? Because my parents told me that we are going there this weekend to visit my aunt and uncle! Malmo is a really cool city, the architecture there is amazing. My aunt and uncle live in an example of some of the amazing architecture of Malmo: Turning Torso, is what it's called. It's the tallest building in Scandanavia; standing at 190 meters (623 feet). It has 54 stories and my aunt and uncle live on the 37th floor. Construction started in 2001, and ended in 2006; the apartments are very luxiourious compared to ours in Gothenburg. They built Turning Torso after the Kockums Crane was removed. The crane made the skyline of Malmo recognizable; when it was removed they decided to build Turning Torso. It's AMAZING! Especially the 54th floor, the view is amazing and scary at the same time!
