More Fun Facts of Poland

Hello everybody. Today is a beautiful day in Poland. We have 4 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. Winter is still in the air and we have fun days in the snow outside. Today, I am going to blog about more fun facts of Poland. There are many. So, here we go. The first one is that Poland combined has 17 Nobel prizes. They have four peace prizes and five in literature. The astronomer Copernicus is Polish and the first person to realize that the world does not revolve around the earth. They have a medieval festival that has jousts, horse archery, and medieval dances. Now, for the gross fun facts. The first one is the pizza does not contain pizza sauce. The waiters bring a pitcher of sauce to the table and you pour it on top. Sometimes, the sauce is ketchup. Next, one of the tv channels is a pope channel. So, if you want to see the pope, just tune into him on tv. Another one is Polish people peel their bananas from the blossom end than the stem end. Another one is Polish beer is 10% alcohol. Now, the last, Polish toilet paper is crepe paper. One last fun fact for the day is the national animal is a white-tailed eagle. Got to go. My family and I are going to go skiing and snowboarding today. Bye Bye!
