The Music Of Ireland

I have noticed that the music in Ireland is very traditional. Most of the music there is like ballads, laments, and drinking songs. One of my favorite groups here I would have to say is the Celtic Women. They sing so beautifully and when I listen to them I cant get enough. The classical music in Ireland has produced another favorite group of mine called Anuna which they had been nominated for the Classical Brit Award and were invited to the first Irish prom. You may not think there is a lot of pop and rock here in Ireland, but there is. There are bands like Emment Spiceland, Skid Row, and many more. Ireland has a big variety in music and its not all oprah or classical music because we do like a lot of what others do.
