As I have said before I live in York and it is often overrun with tourists so I see first hand how little of British culture the rest of the world knows. Talking to tourists taught me the one thing everyone knows about Britain is James Bond who is more popular in U.S.A than he is here, but what mos t people don't know is that MI6 exists and was not created by Ian Fleming(creator of James Bond in case you didn't know) in fact Fleming actually worked for MI6 himself before writing James Bond into our vocabulary. Don't feel too bad though I had no idea that the CIA was real either. Another thing most people don't know is that Great Britain has the most famous Navy in the entire world the reputation of our Royal Navy is Impentrable.
