We are back home finally and all and all i'm glad because I missed my home. When we got back last night my mom made stew. While she was cooking it we started a breif conversation and she told me about how stew was a traditional irish dish. I asked her more about it and she told me all about how in the old days most people only ate potatoes and bread; I started to think about it and it made since. I mean we have so many different potatoe dishes like Champ and baked goods like soda bread. When I asked about how many other traditional dishes there were. We talked for along time and eventually it was time for dinner so we finished. After reflecting on all of the traditions it made me feel more in tune with my culture. I wonder what other taditions there are? Well all and all it has been a good long day.
