Hello, I am back for another blog. Gita is sleeping, my husband is at work, and Anna is at school. I have some free time to blog some more about my beloved second country, Poland. Today, I will be talking all about food, cost, and types of food in Poland. Many of their foods are hearty and healthy. A lot of their food is mainly soup. They have a certain soup called Bigos. It is most a hearty hunter soup. It contains cabbage, mushrooms, and many varieties of meats. It has Polish sausage and pork, but today, they use vension and duck. I make this for my husband when he goes out to hunt for two or three days. Another food we eat is Zrazy. It is said to stick to your ribs. They are correct. It is delicous. They fill sirloin steak with bacon, breadcrumbs, mushrooms, and cucumbers. They then fry it or grill it. It is delicous. We serve it with a side salad of cucumbers. Then, for the best part of the meal dessert. We have many desserts. We have Polish cheesecake, sernik which is apple tarts, and then my absolute favorite dessert is Pazkis. Maybe when we come to the States, we will bring some. Well, I think I have gotten myself hungry. Ok. My husband is home now. He is trying to get dinner ready. But, everybody knows that it will be probably another two or three hours before dinner is ready. Oops! Gita is awake, my husband is home, and Anna is home from school. Well, I guess my quiet time to blog is over. Until next time with Poland's top tourist stops to visit. Bye Bye!
