Etiquette in Bosnia & Herzegovina

In Bosnia visiting people is a common past time. When you visit a person's house you will usually bring a small gift. If you go into their house you will take off your shoes and exchange them for slippers or house shoes. For men and women a common greeting is three kisses, alternating the cheeks.
Here in Bosnia we are very animated people when we speak with eachother. We try and make every conversation we have fun and humorous. :) Some questions which others in other countries consider personal or up front, we consider general questions such as: "how many children do you have?", "do you have children?", "are you married?"
Bosnians have a name for people who usually dont have normal manners, we call the a "Papak".
We Bosnians are genuinely nice and caring people. We Respect everybody and are very hospitable.

Filling you in and signing out,
Adrijana
