Swiss International Airlines was formed in 2001. All of Swiss Airs Aircraft were grounded on October 1st 2001 because it was awaiting assistant funds so it could keep flying for the rest of the month. Some of the aircraft that are flown by the airline are the A330-200, A340-300, A319, A320, A321-100, Bae-146.
